| (I seriously don't know a single other topic opener than this one.) Well, olleh extraterrestrials! My name is Nadia and I have a deep sense of commitment to the rubbish that is Twilight because of all the people I've met through it - such as Katie! Hopefully, I'll continue to meet new people through it. Where do you begin to summarise yourself in a respectably lengthed introduction post? This is a bizarre concept to me, but I'll make the conscious effort. I live in Australia, and I have never seen snow before which is a terrific shame. I'm listening to The Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson at the moment, and I absolutely hate the taste of milk. I hate my maths tutor and I'm partial to the fonts on this site. Looking forward to getting to know anyone that stays here for a considerable length of time. | |

| I like Marilyn Manson too, but I don't have much. Gotta download. That would be fun, but you can contact them. I don't want to anymore, if you can understand why? | |

| You could do that, but a lot of them aren't there. Some are on both of my dead forums. | |

| I don't think there is many people on my dead forum who would join here. I'll make this one work though even if it kills me. | |

| Really? But those people were there for thousands of posts! I'll half-heartedly recruit people here if I can, and I'll try to come on as often as I can. | |

| Heya Nadia. I've missed you. And I'm ashamed to say I'm part of the dead forums as well... I think I'm going to come get you, and take you to snow. Because I'm in love with snow. | |

| I wonder how you'd go about sending snow? And oz has really strict laws on what they allow into the country. | |

| Yeah Australia is really particular about what comes into the country. Things are x-rated, cut open, tested for drugs. Some things like... wooden bracelets are sometimes subjected to gamma radiation to get rid of bugs and loads of things are just not allowed in becuase of possible threats to the eco-system. I only know this becuase I watch a Oz boarder security programme and they once banned a woman coming back to Oz bringing her wooden bracelet in. The woman bought the bracelet in Oz before going on holiday but they still wouldn't let her bring it in incase foreign bugs had got in it. She then had to pay for gamma radiation. | |

Hush, Noelle! Katie, were you by any chance watching "Border Security AUS"? If so, terrific sow, v. amusing. Yes, they are extremely particular about what goes in/out of Australia. When I was LEAVING Australia at Customs, it kept beeping and the guard told me off - you must have something on you! he said. I was only 13! Anyways, I had to take off everything - all of my jewellery, my watch, my jacket, my shoes, all of the crap inside my jacket pockets, even my belt which was holding up my very baggy jeans so my pants were pretty much falling down. And I was LEAVING. Wouldn't have a clue if everything's strict like that in NZ though. Beautiful country it seems to be, regardless.

| That's just excessive.. unless you have secrets in Australia that you aren't sharing with the rest of the world... | |

Though I think it is is called "nothing to declare" over here and the NZ version is Border Security. And yes Anna, NZ is just as serious. If you watch the NZ programme (it's on living tv all the time which is why I've watched it) you'll see that it is excatly the same as Oz. I watched the NZ one and they send a officer to Japan for 6 months to supervise cars being made before they were shipped to the UK incase bugs/contaminants were in the car.
