Bella's papercut

As we all know it set Jasper off who tried to attack her. Now what confuses me is that Jasper goes to school with the other Cullens. Surely at some point, someone in the class is going to get a papercut or a scratch? How did he last so long in the school when a small amount of blood can set him off?

Maybe they have extra safe paper in Forks High School? Or maybe Jasper makes a real effort to not think about it in school, and his guard was let down slightly because he was at home.

But we know that Jasper does think about it at school becuase of what Alice and Edward talk about in Midnight Sun. Alice wants to know if Jasper is hungry or something and Edward tells her what he's thinking.

I think he was more hungry at her party then he usually is at school.
Just a guess.

Maybe... It could be that he fed more when he was reguarly at school to try and stop the cravings for human blood.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the end of Twilight when Bella was all smashed up, wasn't Jasper there?

yeahh.
if he can't restrain himself from a papercut, why can he just fly on by when she's covered with blood? fail.
